Companies producing hazardous and non-hazardous wastes during their operation are required under the Waste Management Act ("the Official Gazette RS" No. 36/09, 88/10, 14/16 and 95/18-Dr. Law) to report to the Agency in accordance with legal and sublegal acts ("The Official Gazette of RS" No. 17/17).
EKOS Green Group services as part of reporting to the National Pollutant Source Register (NPSR)
- Company registration on the National Pollutant Source Register;
- Creating of the Document on the movement of hazardous waste ("The Official Gazette RS" No. 17/17);
- Submission of reports on waste delivered to the Environmental Protection Agency in electronic form ("The Official Gazette RS" No. 17/17);
- Submitting the form of prior notification of the movement of hazardous waste to the Environmental Protection Agency in electronic form ("The Official Gazette RS" No. 17/17);
- Preparation of an annual report for the quantities of waste delivered to the Environmental Protection Agency (Law on Waste Management "The Official Gazette of RS" No. 36/09, 88/10, 14/16 and 95/18 - other law), ("The Official Gazette of RS" No. 17/17);
- Keeping a daily waste record ("The Official Gazette RS" No. 17/17).
Waste management plans
Planning, as an integral part of any organized human activity, is especially important in the organization of waste management. Creating Waste Management Plans, permission for collection, transport, storage, treatment and disposal of waste is carried out in accordance with the Law on Waste Management ("The Official Gazette of RS" No. 36/09, 88/10, 14/16 and 95/18 - Dr. Law) and the applicable Regulations regarding specific types of waste.
Waste management is the implementation of the prescribed waste management measures within the collection, transportation, reuse and disposal of waste, including the supervision of these activities and the care of landfills after closure. Waste management shall be carried out in such a way as to ensure the lowest risk to human health and the environment by control and measures to reduce water, air and soil pollution, wildlife hazards, accidents, fires or explosions, negative impacts on landscapes and natural good of special values, noise levels and odors.
Duties of waste producers
To draw up a waste management plan and organize its implementation if it produces more than 100 tons of non-hazardous waste or more than 200 kilograms of hazardous waste annually (Article 26 of the Law on Waste Management "The Official Gazette RS" No. 36/09, 88/10, 14/16 and 95/18 – the other law).
EKOS Green Group Services in the framework of waste management plans
- Elaboration of a waste management work plan for installations whose business is waste management and for which an integrated license or waste management license is issued;
- Writing a statement on methods of treatment or disposal of waste;
- Writing a statement on methods of treatment or disposal of residues from the plant;
- Creating a plan for closing the plant;
- Filling in the application for the issuance of integrated permits for the operation of the plant;
- Preparation of a plan for environmental protection after cessation of operation and closure of the plant;
- Development of a waste management plan in installations for which an integrated license is issued;
- Creating a plan of measures to prevent accidents and limit their consequences.
