If your company is on the list of companies that have not submitted an annual report on the import of products that after use become special waste streams, published by the Environmental Protection Agency on its website, you are required to comply with the Law on Charges for the Use of Public Goods (" The Official Gazette of RS", Nos. 95/2018 and 49/2019):
- To keep a daily record of the quantity and type of products manufactured and imported,
- to create a quarterly report and charge a fee for imported products that become separate waste streams after use,
- to produce an annual report on products that, after use, become special waste streams, which are submitted to the Environmental Protection Agency not later than March 31 of the current year for the previous year
- to calculate expenses for special waste streams as well as to make a payment for them.
In the previous period, the Environmental Inspection, in cooperation with the Customs Directorate and the Environmental Protection Agency, has intensified its work on the control of legal entities (companies and entrepreneurs) who import products that become special waste streams after use.
For non-compliance with the Regulation, fines are provided according to the following criteria
- 500,000 - 1,000,000 dinars for a legal entity
- 25,000 - 50,000 dinars for the responsible person in the legal entity
- 250,000 - 500,000 dinars for entrepreneurs

- Preparation of an annual report on special waste streams (Form 2) using the information system of the Environmental Protection Agency,
- Preparation of a quarterly report and calculation of the amount of compensation for products that become separate waste streams after use,
- Keeping a daily record of the quantity and type of products produced and imported,
- Preparation of necessary statements if there was an error in recording by the Agency,
- Send necessary documentation to the prescribed addresses.
