  • A new management system format that matches the high-level structure.
  • The need to understand the context of the organization and the needs and expectations of stakeholders.
  • Emphasis on achieving additional value for the organization and its users.
  • Stronger demands on leadership, involvement and commitment of management.
  • Focus on risk management.
  • Communication and awareness.
  • Greater flexibility and fewer requirements regarding system documentation.
